 How valuable is your current retiree population?  The following is an example of a means of estimating the value of retaining a retiree population.  The example is taken from a case in Georgia.  It is based on the market area pull of a micropolitian community, of which the estimated population in 2006 was slightly less than 50,000.  The community is the market center for a ten county rural area in central Georgia.
